Jennifer Banks provides the administrative and general all-around support that keeps MORTGAGE BANKING INSURANCE GROUP’s team working efficiently and its clients happy.

Her experience in mortgage banking can be traced back to 1996 when she started working at Bankers Insurance Service as an assistant underwriter. Her responsibilities included aiding clients with the application process, performing invoicing, issuing certificates of insurance as well as policies and more. While at Bankers Insurance, she gained familiarity with many of the coverages important to a mortgage banker, such as mortgage banking bonds, mortgage impairment, director & officers liability and professional services liability, among others.

Before beginning her career in mortgage banking, Banks, appropriately enough, worked at a bank. She was in charge of the administrative duties at the Korean Exchange Bank. In this position, she strengthened her interpersonal skills as she learned to work and communicate with international customers and co-workers.

After taking some time off to raise her children, Banks decided she would like to obtain a position at a company that would enable her to use the mortgage banking insurance skills she had previously cultivated. She joined MORTGAGE BANKING INSURANCE GROUP in 2005.
